Agentic AI Orchestration

Unleashing the Power of Coordinated Expert Agents

From AI Experiments to Systems of Intelligence

At the Swiss AI Summit 2025, Sergio Gago explored the rapid rise of AI agents and why organizations are increasingly investing in At the Swiss AI Summit 2025, Georg Olowson addressed a critical turning point: AI platforms exist, but most organizations struggle to make AI actually work in day-to-day business. The missing piece, he argued, is orchestration.

Digital transformation has evolved from systems of record to systems of engagement and insight and now to systems of intelligence, where AI agents act directly within workflows.

Orchestration as the Productivity Multiplier

Using IBM’s internal transformation as a case study, Georg demonstrated how orchestrated AI systems reduced application sprawl, automated the majority of HR requests, and significantly cut operating costs. Importantly, jobs were not eliminated but reallocated to higher-value work.

Watsonx Orchestrate exemplifies this approach by providing a unified entry point, routing tasks to specialized agents, integrating tools and channels, and enforcing governance across the enterprise.

Putting AI to Work - Securely and at Scale

The keynote concluded with a clear message: AI delivers value only when embedded, governed, and orchestrated across functions. Orchestration reduces friction, increases trust, and turns AI from isolated tools into a coordinated system of intelligence.
