Georg Olowson is a Business Technology Leader at IBM Client Engineering and leads engagements with clients in the Telco and Distribution sector in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. He is an Advocate and Community Leader at IBM for Trustworthy AI and promotes progress through responsible innovation. Georg serves as a Board Member for Youth and Technology at the World Council of Cretans and the Pancretan Association of Europe.

Throughout his career at IBM, Georg has been repeatedly recognized for outstanding leadership and digital innovation. He is the recipient of the IBM Entrepreneur Award (2022) for his exceptional cross-functional leadership of Project DORA, the IBM Manager's Choice Award (2019), and the IBM Europe Digital Award (2019) for designing a best-in-class end-to-end digital customer journey. His track record of innovation dates back to his early career, where he won 1st place in the prestigious "Daniel Düsentrieb Preis" Innovation Contest (2014) hosted by TUHH for designing sustainable future mobility concepts. Georg's early leadership foundation also includes serving as a Member and Committee Chairman of the Youth Parliament of the City of Hamburg.
