Sandra Kurmann is an actuary SAV and working for the Swiss Insurance Association SIA since 2018 as a specialist in actuarial science and risk management and since 2020 as Head of Finance and Regulation. As a member of the Managing Board since 2022, she is the Divisional Head of the General Operating Conditions division handling interdisciplinary issues relating to supervision and regulation, as well as educational policy and digital insurance. Before joining the SIA, Sandra Kurmann worked as a Consulting Actuary at Milliman Switzerland and as a lecturer at HEC Lausanne. She started her career at the Grawe insurance company in Graz, Austria. Sandra Kurmann holds a PhD in Actuarial Science from the University of Lausanne and lives with her husband and two daughters in Richterswil.
