Eva Blaya is an accomplished financial executive currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for BBVA in Zurich, Switzerland, a role she has held since October 2023. With over 14 years of dedicated leadership at BBVA, she simultaneously serves as the Head of Strategic Planning & Management Control.

Her deep expertise in risk management and corporate finance was established during her tenure at BBVA Global Wealth, where she worked as Head of Investment Risk and Financial Risk Analyst. She began her corporate career in the Barcelona Metropolitan Region with Ernst & Young (EY), moving from Staff Auditor to Senior Auditor. Commercially and strategically forward-thinking, she also holds an ESG Certificate from the CFA Institute (issued in February 2022), bridging traditional corporate financial oversight with modern sustainable governance frameworks.
