Paul Weber is a veteran of the Swiss financial industry with over three decades of experience across banking, asset management, and financial technology. He began his career in 1986 in the back office of a major U.S. brokerage firm, later joining several Swiss private banks in Lugano where he held roles in Treasury and Foreign Exchange, Portfolio Management, and trading in cash instruments and exchange-traded derivatives. He was also actively involved in both trading operations and advisory services, and participate in IT initiatives aimed at foreign exchange, market operations and process automation.

In 2007, he became Head of Operations at an external asset management firm, overseeing the implementation of the technology stack, custodian bank relations, trade controls, and regulatory and client reporting.

Since 2018, he has served as Head of Business Development and Banking Analyst at Cube Finance. In this capacity, he analyses the evolving regulatory landscape to assess its impact on end clients—such as UCITS fundss and Swiss External Asset Managers—and advises on the corresponding implications for the firm’s technological offering. He also plays a key role in expanding the customer base, contributes over 30 years of banking expertise to product design and development, and monitors structural and market changes in the financial industry to ensure the firm’s solutions remain relevant and aligned with industry standards and client needs.
