Benedikt Heil is a highly experienced UX architect with a track record of more than 15 years shaping highly complex digital applications. He has been responsible for products and specialist systems in fields ranging from energy and banking to disaster management, where large amounts of data, demanding workflows, and diverse user needs have to come together in a coherent product.

Originally trained as a geographer, Benedikt started his career as a researcher at the Swiss Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF. At Zeix, he has led large-scale digital projects and shaped data-rich applications, interactive maps, and complex specialist systems, always with a strong focus on usability and efficient workflows.

Today, he applies this experience to AI-powered products: identifying where AI creates genuine value and designing how it becomes part of useful, understandable workflows and interfaces.

Benedikt regularly speaks at industry events, has served for many years as a jury member for the Best of Swiss Web Awards, and became CEO of Zeix in 2026.
