Dr Anastasia Stasenko is the co-founder and CEO of Pleias, a French-German AI lab developing the data infrastructure for enterprise agentic AI. A graduate of the École normale supérieure (Ulm), she is also an associate professor at Université Paris-Dauphine. Under her leadership, Pleias built Common Corpus — the largest permissively licensed, multilingual dataset for training language models — and launched SYNTH, a large-scale open synthetic data pipeline for sovereign models. She advocates for an ethical, decentralized AI that communities, institutions, and businesses can make their own.
